Hawaii Fishing News and Fishing Report

Hawaii Fishing News / Report - September 10, 2007.

The fishing of Oahu this week (9/1/07) has been transitioning from summer to fall. The large Yellow fin tuna can only be found with the porpoise on the West side of the island (Oahu), along with the occasional Blue marlin. Mahi Mahi fishing off of the North Shore has started to pick up. These fish are ranging from ten to fifty pounds. Also gone with summer are the Ono(wahoo). They will be caught every now and then, but not with the higher frequency experienced in the summer. Look for an increase of Mahi Mahi as we head into the Fall.
